1How difficult is hiking in Corcovado?
Hikes vary: 1-day trails like La Leona (20 km) are moderate, while multi-day routes like Los Patos-Sirena-La Leona (44 km) require excellent physical fitness. Guides adapt the pace to your group.
2What animals can I see in Corcovado?
Corcovado hosts over 2.5% of the world's biodiversity. You can see tapirs, jaguars, monkeys (4 species), scarlet macaws, crocodiles, snakes, coatis, peccaries, and hundreds of bird species.
3Do I need a guide to enter Corcovado?
Yes, since 2014 Corcovado National Park requires a mandatory certified guide to enter any trail. Our guides are 100% local, certified by SINAC.
4What is the best time to visit Corcovado?
The dry season (December to April) offers the best trail conditions, but the green season (May to November) has fewer visitors and wildlife is equally active. We operate year-round except October.
