San Pedrillo

Another option from Drake Bay to visit a different Corcovado station. The guide meets you at Playa Agujitas at 6:00 am; after a 40-minute ride you might spot dolphins. We arrive at San Pedrillo around 7:00 am, check in and start the forest hike.

Guide Policy (Group Ratio)

We require a minimum of 2 people and a maximum of 10 people per guide to ensure the best experience. For groups larger than 10 people, 1 extra guide will be assigned per 9 or 10 additional people.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before visiting Corcovado National Park.

1How difficult is hiking in Corcovado?

Hikes vary: 1-day trails like La Leona (20 km) are moderate, while multi-day routes like Los Patos-Sirena-La Leona (44 km) require excellent physical fitness. Guides adapt the pace to your group.

2What animals can I see in Corcovado?

Corcovado hosts over 2.5% of the world's biodiversity. You can see tapirs, jaguars, monkeys (4 species), scarlet macaws, crocodiles, snakes, coatis, peccaries, and hundreds of bird species.

3Do I need a guide to enter Corcovado?

Yes, since 2014 Corcovado National Park requires a mandatory certified guide to enter any trail. Our guides are 100% local, certified by SINAC.

4What is the best time to visit Corcovado?

The dry season (December to April) offers the best trail conditions, but the green season (May to November) has fewer visitors and wildlife is equally active. We operate year-round except October.

5Where do you sleep on multi-day tours?

At the Sirena Biological Station inside the park, which has bunk beds with mosquito nets in shared spaces. Meals are prepared at the station.

6How much does a Corcovado tour cost?

One-day tours range from $120 to $255 per person. Multi-day tours start from $330 per person (2D/1N) including guide, park entrance, transport, and lodging.
